Linamar Corporation, known as LNR on the TSX, acquired Skyjack during August the year 2002. Linamar is best recognized for its production of assemblies, modules and precision-machined parts. Linamar's solid balance sheet provides Skyjack with long-term stability and increased strength overall. Skyjack presently has production facilities in Hungary, the US and Canada with support offices in Asia and Europe.



The company provides a complete line of self-propelled scissor lifts. Some models have elevated work heights up to 56ft. Skyjack became a leader in the industry by providing machinery features that combined durability, serviceability, service and quality, making Skyjack scissor lifts known all over the globe for product reliability. The company's existing Boom lift model lineup consists of telescopic booms. These models offer telescopic booms which feature work heights varying from 45 to 71 feet. The company plans further expand the boom lift product line in the future.



In August 2007, the acquisition of Volvo's Material Handling Equipment business complements the purchase of Carelift Equipment. This business purchase expands Skyjack's Telehandler product offering leading to the additional VR series telehandlers and the Zoom Boom series. These acquisitions provide the company an opportunity to grow with the additional manufacturing capacity. Skyjack continues to lead the way in the industry, providing dependable lift solutions.
