FM GRU Tower Cranes were established during the year 1920. This family run company, FMgru, is found in the biggest industrial place in northern Italy. During the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into a manufacturing and industrial economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in building bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, a wide range of forklifts, presses, farming machines and prefabrication molds.
In the year 1963, the company started crane production. The company eventually invested all of their human resources and financial resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the area of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru presently produces and sells 4 different series of tower cranes. These equipments are designed and engineered for a variety of uses and there are units available to cover all construction requirements.
Some units provide extremely flexible lifting options for companies which are constructing private houses and small buildings. Self-erecting cranes provide 22 to 40 meters jib range and have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity.
Topless tower cranes are amongst their other models. These cranes have upto 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are both user friendly and extremely adaptable. They are suitable for minimizing interferences when there are many cranes working in the same building location.
Saddle-jib tower cranes offer a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. They have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg. There are regular tower cranes which have no over sail restriction and are suitable for any construction or building project.
Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes by FMgru have a 12000 kg capacity and 50 meter long jibs. These kinds of cranes are particularly designed to work in restricted locations and on high-rise projects where buildings are situated near each other.
