Narrow Aisle Forklift
Utilized to both lower and lift loaded pallets from storage spaces which are high is a narrow aisle forklift. This model is suitable for work places with narrow spaces between aisles, like warehouses or retail environments. The forklift has small, solid rubber tires that make maneuvering simple.
The operator of this particular kind of forklift generally stands up inside a small cockpit. The stand-up design allows the narrow aisle forklift to be as narrow ans short as possible. A stand-up cockpit forklift normally has three tires: one in the back, and two in the front. This design allows for fast and easy maneuvering. There are some versions of these forklifts which come with a sit-down cockpit. The lift attachment can pivot to the sides, permitting the lift to be operated without the operator having to move the whole machine. The sit-down version usually has four wheels.
An electric engine is utilized to power many narrow aisle forklifts. Machines which are electrically powered are quiet and do not make exhaust fumes, making them the preferred alternative for closed areas like for instance retail spaces. Several lifts come with a gas engine or a diesel engine. However, the diesel version is not suggested to be used indoors because it could produce exhaust and be noisy.
