Manitou Telescopic Forklifts Houston

Manitou Telescopic Forklifts Houston

Manitou offers many various telescopic forklifts, several that are rated as the most versatile machinery on the market today. All telehandlers by Manitou come with a standard 4-wheel drive, designed for use in outdoor settings, and in rough terrain environments. The lift capacities range from 35,000 lbs. to 3000 lbs. The equipment can lift heights ranging up to 70 feet on some models.

All units come with various steering modes such as 4-wheel steering and crab steering. Several of the other alternatives available for these units comprise Hydrostatic transmissions, frame leveling and outriggers. These types of equipment could also use a wide array of attachments including: truss jibs, buckets, fixed carriages, rotating carriages, grapples, and winches. There is a huge variety of telescopic lift trucks on the market and therefore, many various configurations. Be certain to do your research so as to select the right one for your particular application.

When dismounting a forklift, there are some specific things to take into consideration. When dismounting for instance, make sure to never jump from it and to face the vehicle. Maintain a 3-point stance, which means to always have both hands and one foot or vice-versa in contact with the equipment. Be sure to wear non-slippery and oil resistant shoes as proper protective shoes can definitely help to keep you safe. Do not wear loose clothes or dangling jewelry, because these items might become caught. Wear the proper kind of clothes. Make sure the area surrounding the forklift and the floor is free of fluid or debris which could potentially lead to a dangerous slip. Last but not least, when you are preparing to dismount, be alert and make sure there is no other traffic around.
