Types

Clark manufactures an array of forklift trucks like narrow aisles, pneumatic trucks and cushion trucks. The different types vary when it comes to the way they operate. For instance, heavy-duty forklifts used for agriculture and construction operate on an internal combustible engine. Narrow aisle models designed to be utilized inside warehouses and different other confined spaces run on rechargeable battery.



Lifting Capacity

According to the kind of Clark forklift trucks, the lifting capacity can differ. Forklifts that are battery-powered have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the type. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion types are recommended. They can lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.



Engine

AC batteries, either 36 volt or 48 volt, are used to power Clark electric forklift trucks. The internal combustion or IC engine types have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC or Internal Combustion models have automatic transmission with three-speed, two-speed and single-speed kinds.



Frame/Cab

The frame/cab assembly is in the center of the forklift and consists of overhead protective cover for the operator, the seat and controls. The frame consist of the engine, fuel tank, wheels, transmission and trans-axle.
