End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are popular in the material handling industry for their great flexibility. These equipment have superior performance features that are quite like sit-down electric lift truck models.
These forklift units are ideal for warehouse environments which have limited space. The space required to utilize these machines are less than the three-wheel electric forklift truck requirements. These machinery are an ideal option for applications which need regular on and off access, since their stand-up design is an exceptional feature.
The reach truck is a loading machine utilized by a variety of companies that maintain a storage facility which involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and supplies which are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and simple retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent alternative for people who prefer to store pallets of products they do not require yet in a way which is both safe and efficient.
The basic reach truck unit is equipped with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping blades which move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The forks additionally have a hydraulic setup that enables the driver to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not only gives more balance to the overall load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to maneuver into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the designated shelf has been identified, the hydraulic blades swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into position. Usually, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
