Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklift models are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck offering great height and versatility. The crane, or arm, is called a telescopic boom. The boom enables the operator to raise the cargo to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Standard forklifts aren't able to move the load towards and away from the forklift cab, while a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is normally utilized in both agriculture and construction. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is required.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended in situations needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that allow the operator to use uniform clamping force when picking up a load. It comes with a backrest that protects the loads from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems which don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This kind of system is useful for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A lift platform that is meant to raise staff is referred to as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forklift forks and a strap or chain is used to attach the basket to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the workers from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
