The narrow aisle forklift has been made to function in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the width of the aisle. Yale produces the single reach NR and double reach NDR models that are used for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has different stance and control handle configurations and use best-in-class ergonomics.



NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements

Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To be able to meet a wider range of operations, there are many control handle configurations such as the choice of fore, the aft stance, and the side-stance options.



AC Motor Technology: The AC motor technology offers fast lifting speeds along with powerful deceleration and acceleration. It has been manufactured for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes that combine to increase the amount of loads moved during a shift.



Reach & Mast Assembly: The tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the mast durability and rigidity; along with the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life as well as the gusseted rear frame weldment.



Power Lowering: To really enhance the overall throughput and productivity, Yale offers industry leading lowering speeds and uploading speeds.



Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a great function that maintains lower oil operating temperature while reducing battery changes per shift.



Electronic Steering: In order to greatly reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The operator can adjust the steering tiller and the technician could adjust the steer effort so as to reduce operator exhaustion. During the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.



Order Selectors: The narrow aisle trucks and the very narrow aisle trucks are also called order pickers. These machinery are made for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors raise both the operator and the cargo to its required height. This height can be in excess of 30 feet. Like most turret trucks they are generally rail or wire guided when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
